Regional Director

Proman is recruiting for one of its clients, leader on the transport&Logistic industry a Regional Director

The first function of the Regional Director is to ensure the profitability and productivity of all terminals under his supervision.

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate, guide and directly assist a team of directors in the day-to-day management of operations and ensure they function properly.
  • Determine the needs in human, material and financial resources necessary for the proper functioning of the operations of the terminals in the region in collaboration with the help and support of the terminal directors.
  • Evaluate the revenue for all routes in the region and make modifications with the terminal directors in order to increase profitability and productivity.
  • Perform talent management making sure you have the right workforce in place and take over.
  • Be in constant communication with customers and make sure to visit them in case of major problems.

Main challenge

  • Ensure the smooth running of operations in the region by adequately communicating the directives to be followed by the team of terminal managers.

Business relationship

  • Communicates with associates, employees, supervisors, managers
  • Communicates with the various departments at the head office.
  • Communicate regularly with customers
  • Communicate with members of senior management

Financial impacts

  • Control the use of material and financial resources according to the budget of the branches in their region;
  • Approve and control the use of overtime and overtime, training expenses and labor costs;
  • Monitor the efficiency of the agencies on the basis of performance indicators;
  • Approve and control expenses related to the maintenance, repair and renewal of equipment at branches in their region (building, warehouse and office);

Job requirements

  • DEC or BAC in administration or transportation
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in managing operations in a branch or region
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in managing people and developing effective teams
  • Skills developed in strategic planning
  • Sense of organization
  • Good communication both oral and written
  • Problem solving skills
  • Sense of priorities
  • Travel


Salary: 100000.00-130000.00
