Office Manager

GPM Property Management Inc

This is a Contract position in Abbotsford, ia posted September 20, 2021.

The Office Manager supports the VP, Client Services by managing the administrative functions in the office.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the general office operation.

Support the administrative functions and ensure the office is operating smoothly.

Purchase stationary and other office supplies and equipment and maintain proper stock levels.

Manage the office opening/closing considerations Post vacation and office closing notifications for HR and site staff Administration/Accounting Follow up on client deliverable deadlines Assess need for temporary staff Responsible for portable back up Manage the onboarding process for all new staff.

This includes ensuring the AODA and Health & Safety training is completed.

Also included is the onboarding and overall administration of payroll, absenteeism/vacation and group benefits and related tasks as may occur from time to time.

Responsible for preparing management renewals with letters by seeking feedback from managers, and deal with tracking and managing the bills with respect to renewals Complete invoicing set up when there are renewals and reach out to managers for feedback on what has been accomplished so that renewals can be set up Complete payroll every 2 weeks Supervise Staff Supervise, mentor, train and coach office staff Track hires/termination Maintain employee records Schedule for vacation coverage as required Delegate assignments Support VP, Client Services Coordinate appointments and meetings and manage the VP, Client Services calendar and schedule.

Oversee end to end the vacation calendar for all GPM staff Prepare Head Office closing notices to be posted and provided to field staff as sample for their site offices.

Qualifications 2 year post secondary education in a related field 3 years experience in a similar capacity with at least 1 year of experience managing staff Our Story GPM is one of Canada’s leading property management companies.
