Rogers is seeking a Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) reporting to the VP, Enterprise Architecture | Data & Analytics | Corporate Systems.

This role will be leading the ED&A Data Solutions Design/Strategy and Data Governance teams in an on-premise and cloud ecosystem where the responsibilities will primarily revolve around defining and estimating solutions patterns and standards, designing data solutions using these patterns along with modern data technologies, and enhancing the data governance posture for the enterprise.

This role will interface with all lines of business across Rogers and will work alongside the Data Engineering, BI/Analytics/Data Science and Delivery & Operations teams within ED&A.

You will also be responsible for overall talent management which includes a team of both full-time employees and numerous vendor teams.

What you will be doing: Lead the design and delivery of data solutions design and data governance initiatives and programs Provide technical leadership with data technologies Build repeatable processes and patterns for design and build, working closely with all within ED&A teams to reduce time-to-market, improve quality and reduce delivery costs Enforce and continuously improve delivery gating processes across SDLC Stakeholder management, including 20 groups within Business and IT Adapt within a demanding, fast pace environment Lead talent management, including recruitment, development and recognition of team members Building unity and cohesiveness within the department Participating in aligning the ED&A strategy and roadmap with Business and IT priorities Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to drive adoption of approved IT platforms Manage onshore and offshore vendors to deliver and evolve ED&A platforms Support development and execution of near-term and long-term ED&A strategy and roadmap Select technologies and vendors to deliver and evolve ED&A platforms What you have: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field Preferred Graduate University Degree at Master’s level (e.g.

MBA, MA, MSc) 5 years’ experience in a data solutions design capacity utilizing Hadoop, Informatica, Azure, AWS, Oracle, Kafka, etc.

5 years of designing, implementing and sustaining data governance processes, capabilities/tooling and programs 10 years of broad and deep data warehouse experience in complex technology environments Experience managing large teams (e.g.

30 staff) with a minimum of 5 direct reports.

Previous experience in the telecommunications and/or media industry is an asset Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate discussions leveraging effective language, tone, and style.

Creates clear written business documents that demonstrate clarity of thought.

Demonstrable understanding of how to network and develop healthy working relationships with various key stakeholders.
