POSITION OVERVIEW Serve as a strategic advisor and counsel to the CIO and act as an enabler to IT’s leadership team success Oversee IT financial Management for a scope of budgets and investments.

Contribute to CIO strategic reflection and Sr.

IT leadership’s operational priorities setting via strategic planning coordination and gatekeep its application across adequate IT governance design.

Manage business unit relationship and IT relationship to ensure fluid communication, alignment, and most optimal prioritisation of efforts.

Align and measure IT priorities along side with the (VP Ops) EPMO for portfolios and (VP Strategic initiatives) programs directly to key levers of business performance and ultimately increase productivity by better prioritization and planning to optimize capacity Accountability through generating growth through better ROI on IT assets, by leveraging mature and clear business processes to increase speed to market.

Oversee performance and relationship of IT strategic and critical vendors (63M worth of contracts commitment) and staff augmentation partners (60M worth of commitment) in collaboration with Procurement and ITRM Generate value by effectively managing supply and demand of IT resources to achieve business units’ priorities (workforce and others) Increase and facilitate communication across IT and with business units to enhance collaboration, improve governance and planning effectiveness so to mitigate executional risk.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET Leading a team of subject matters experts with following specialities: Business Relationship Management: As IT partners, contribute to developing and supporting business strategies and provide value to all business groups by providing transparency, aligning priorities, and ultimately improving business performance.

Prepare and present business cases with clear benefits.

IT Strategy planning & Performance Management: guardian of IT strategy and KPIs, fully aligned with Corporate Strategy IT Financial & Workforce management: Optimizing IT investment and maximize ROI.

Ensure optimal execution and management for the IT to support operational and strategic priorities.

Along side with our internal partners, oversee sourcing strategy and capacity planning.

In a continuing improvement mindset, we align and adjust important key cross-functional IT processes.

IT Vendor and Asset Management (ITVAM): Provide CIO accurate information on IT Assets and Contracts for better decision making.

As IT experts and in collaboration with our internal partners, increase and optimize relation’s value and investment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or Information Technology, or a combination of relevant education and experience MBA would be a great asset 10 years’ experience in a role of financial performance management ideally in IT Experience in a diverse environment combining multiple technologies and stakeholders Excellent business acumen and stakeholder management skills Influence skills Organisational agility and good networking skills Intellectual curiosity and agility Excellent oral and written communication skills in both official languages Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across internal and external teams Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills Ability to manage in an uncertain environment and perform well under pressure Intellectual agility – navigate in operational details to articulate strategic concept (vice versa) Strong Financial management knowledge/ experience Understanding of the banking industry an asset Leadership experience (this role could be a coach of other Sr IT Leaders in support to holistic team maturity development – shaping a High Performance team) Team work and good listener Adaptable and talent in planning EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER At BDC, we value diversity in our workforce and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
