Areas of responsibility include customer credit reviews, account maintenance, and monitoring your portfolio.

The position works with all levels within the enterprise and is responsible for the profitable growth of our credit portfolio to support the financial goals of the company.

We are looking for highly motivated self-starters who are analytical and have excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams within the enterprise.

This position reports to Manager – Credit.

·Customer reviews including but not limited to analyzing financial statements and completing ratio, trend and cash flow analysis, DSO analysis, obtaining bank and trade references, sales forecast review, and historical payment and receivable analysis
·On-site visits with customers
·Manage a portfolio of accounts through analyzing and investigating balances outstanding, over/under payments, tax discrepancies, and material claim deductions
·Manage risk through monitoring shipment releasing and account management
·Interact with customers daily with accounts payable and senior financial contacts (Controller/CFO), and purchasing contacts
·Support the Sales and Procurement teams through the provision of timely reviews for new and existing customers and effectively communicate with the Account Managers
·Support the Accounting and Finance team with month end closing duties including but not limited to AR subledger closing, reconciling to the GL, revenue recognition analysis, DSO analysis (executive and customer level), bad debt reserve, and ad-hoc reporting
·Ensuring timely cash application of customer invoices including the investigation of missing or inaccurate records
·Partner with financial and operational team members to drive top-line results
·Responsible for quarterly and annual file preparation and testing for internal and external auditsIdentify opportunities in standardization, efficiencies, and effectivenessAdhere to credit policies, practices, and procedures Job Skills, Knowledge and Experience
·Ability to review, assess, and analyze financial statements
·Ability to identify financial risks and provide prompt, sound credit decisions/recommendations
·High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
·Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
·Must be able to produce high quality work-product in a time-sensitive fashion
·Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet deadlines
·Ability to work well with others both internal and external
·Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
·Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
·Ability to liaise with external contacts including Accounts Payable, Finance Managers, Controllers, Vice Presidents, CFOs, CEOs, Procurement Managers, and Legal Counsel Job Qualifications
·Accounting or Finance related degree or designation
