In an inbound call center environment, our Customer Sales & Service Representatives support our clients that are currently using either a “prepaid” or “postpaid” personal communications service (PCS) handset and ensuring all of their inquiries and services exceed their expectations in terms of responsiveness, completeness, and accuracy. Note: We honour our employees with an excellent compensation package including benefits, and a starting wage of $20.16 per hour. Possibility to take advantage of our At Home program in the future. Our call center hours of operation are currently: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:15 PM & 9:00 AM to 8:15 PM, Saturday & Sunday. Responsibilities:Provides timely resolution of client inquiries as the point of contact for TELUS Mobility Solutions clients including activation, service, billing, and equipment inquiriesAsks necessary questions in order to troubleshoot technical service issues determining root causes of problems and finding appropriate resolutionsProactively explores and anticipates clients’ future needs with an ability to recommend and educate the client on value-add services and productsIntroduces and promotes the use of self service options relevant to clients’ needsAccurately obtains, documents and confirms client personal informationBuilds relevant professional relationships with internal contactsScheduling Requirements:Must be available to attend an initial 8 weeks full-time training programMust be available to work up to 37.5 hours per week in a variety of shifts to meet the changing needs of our businessRequired Skills & Abilities:Related post-secondary education or equivalent experienceExperience and/or knowledge of a customer service environmentExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsBilingualism in English & French, both oral and written, mandatory for locations in Québec (QC)Positive, friendly attitude with the willingness and ability to sellUnderstanding of the sales processAbility to learn and share information with othersAbility to work independently with a minimum of supervision in a fast-paced environment, while effectively managing multiple tasksAssets:1-2 years of previous experience in an office environment using business toolsWorking knowledge of the Internet, Internet technologies, and technological/industry trends, as well as personal computers, e-mail and operating systems, dial-up, and high-speed Internet connectivityFamiliarity with trouble reporting systemsAptitude for recognizing and creating sales leadsExperience in a Windows environmentExperience in any sales or customer service role like retail, call center, restaurant: waiter/waitress/bartender In order to be considered on a vacancy:You must be performing at standard in your current role for a minimum of 12 months*The opportunity should align with your CCDPYou are responsible for notifying your support person of your applicationYou must apply online*Or in accordance with applicable collective agreement Who is TELUS? You are part of a high-performing team of individuals who collectively make TELUS one of the leading telecommunications companies in Canada.
