This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted May 31, 2019.

Systems Administrator (Patch Management) The Desktop OS Imaging team has a requirement for an experienced resource in Patch Management to test and deploy patches and updates to our Windows 7/8.1/10 images and corporate applications in an SCCM 2012, and SCCM Current Branch environments.

The objective of this SOW is to acquire the services of an experienced Patch Management resource that has the knowledge to perform the services required and provide deliverables as described in this document.

Mandatory Criteria The Bidder must clearly substantiate and demonstrate how the proposed System Administrator ( Patch Management) possesses A minimum of a two (2) year college diploma (computer science or other IT related field); OR A university degree at the Bachelor level in Information Technology (computer science or engineering) or other IT related field; OR A minimum of ten (10) years (in the last 15 years) work experience in the IT field. The proposed System Administrator (Patch Management) must clearly substantiate and demonstrate upon bid closing that they have a minimum ten (10) years’ experience performing tasks similar to those specified in the attached SOW.

The proposed System Administrator (Patch Management) must hold a upon bid closing a Secret Level Security Clearance Additional Criteria The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing how the Systems Administrator (Patch Management) has experience with in the last 15 years of deploying patches/updates through the use of SCCM Current Branch.

The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing how the System Administrator has experience, within the last seven (7) years, providing 3 rd level support relating to troubleshooting patch deployments, as well as workstation (i.e.

Windows 7, 8.1, and 10) and SCCM client-related issues.

The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing how the Systems Administrator (Patch Management) has experience in the last 15 years in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a WSUS environment.

The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing how the Systems Administrator (Patch Management) has experience within the last 15 years in creating, modifying, and testing/troubleshooting PowerShell scripts.

The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing that the Systems Administrator (Patch Management) holds current and valid certifications through industry recognized certification bodies in one of the fields MCSE – Microsoft Certified Engineer ITIL Certification v3 (or newer) Information Technology Infrastructure Library The Bidder should demonstrate at bid closing how the Systems Administrator (Patch Management) has familiarity with service management and change management processes.
