Job Purpose/Overview: This role plays two critical functions at the RGU Facility
– Associate training (Education and Training Pillar Leader) and General Administration.

This individual will provide through the E&T Pillar the skills and knowledge by designing, developing, administering and facilitating operational training for non-exempt production associates to improve their technical skills and performance As well, the role ensures that the factory runs smoothly and handles administrative tasks such as reporting, PO conversion, associate recognition, event planning, community services, communication, and partnering with P&O, Operations, Q&FS, HSE, Flow, and S&F to provide support for administrative and coordinator duties.

Key Responsibilities: ASSOCIATE TRAINING
• Develop overall training strategy and program.

• Understanding of knowledge/skills/performance-based programs along with proven leadership skills.

• The ability to deliver training utilizing adult learning techniques to production associates and manage / maintain Site training system
– Alchemy.

• Assist in the determination of training priorities and interventions and identify the necessary resources to support training.

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that result in improving productivity using standard work while consistently maintaining high product quality.

• Skills Matrix Support
– update, identify skills gaps, plan, and deliver training to reduce the skills gaps leveraging current ways of working (FMOS, MRF, MSE).

Coordinate with Managers and Leads to determine that associate’s skill level is adequate for performing their job task.

• Identify and utilize the training aids (equipment, mock-ups etc.) for Manufacturing.

• Coordinate and assist in the updating of training materials (SOP) as needed to ensure standard work is known and followed.

• Coordinate with other departments on all equipment upgrades and installations and communicate all changes to associates, while updating training manuals to ensure standard work.

• Coordinate and administer training and development schedules, tracking of associates training and keeping associates informed of training opportunities.

• Preparation for and successful completion of the audits (external and internal audits) related to training and knowledge assessment.

• Work closely with Engineering/CVS to develop training requirements for new projects/processes.

• Help line managers to solve specific training needs/issues either on a 1:1 or in a group.

• Provide administrative support as required.

PURCHASING
• Main point of contact for PO creation for all non-maintenance/project spend.

• Work with site S&F resource to transition to Navision enabled program for PO creation and maintain responsibility for conversion.

SITE ADMINISTRATION
• Maintain recognition activities for the site to include but not limited to: Health and Wellness programs and community events in line with our RC/Mars signature programs.

• Manage Uniform Program through selected provider to ensure both uniform and supply needs are met.

• Coordinate site amenities and services through our relationship with outside vendors.

• Coordination of events
– Management Team meetings, internal and external site visits.

• Tours/Factory Calendar
– Work with market to confirm tour dates align with Factory production schedule, update plant calendar
• Manage all necessary plant communication i.e., Birthdays, P&O Updates, Pension, Benefits, Business Update Meetings, Upcoming Events/Meetings, Market/Plant communication.

• Assemble and analyze labor data and complete reports required by EH&S, S&F, and other functional areas that require this information.

• Assist in maintaining the site’s Affirmative Action reporting and OFCCP audits if needed
• Coordinating activities i.e.

point of contact for visitors, temporary associates, special events.

ONBOARDING NEW RC CANADA ASSOCIATES
• Plant Only: Plant Induction, plant training modules, locker assignment, uniform setup, PPE equipment, Work Authority vouchers (safety shoes), Apps Optical (safety prescription glasses), coordinate molded ear plugs Context and Scope: The successful individual will work collaboratively across all functions at the site
– seeking out and supporting all training as well as staying up to date on key site activities and proactively providing support.

Education & Professional Qualifications:
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3
– 4 years experience in Office Management
• Background in manufacturing environment Preferred: o Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Management or a related technical field o Experience completing full training cycles (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) o Experience with instructional design theory and implementation Knowledge/Experience:
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to deal effectively with the uncertainty of change
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well with associates within all levels of the organization
• Ability to work with confidentiality
• Excellent computer skills with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
