Position Highlights The Service Transition team in Technology Operations has an opportunity for a Senior IT Service Desk Analyst.

This role is responsible for providing knowledge management services by working collaboratively with support teams and customers to improve support efficiency and reduce the need to rediscover knowledge.

The Senior IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for: Identifying, capturing, developing, and maintaining knowledge assets to support services provided by the Information Services Division Collaborating with support teams and customers to ensure support knowledge exists and is updated for new or changed services Improving existing knowledge processes, procedures, assets and support materials Administering, maintaining and sustaining knowledge base(s) for service operations support teams Identifying, capturing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing knowledge assets Analyzing and reporting on knowledge management performance indicators and metrics to identify trends and improve services Leading knowledge management initiatives and coordinating team activities to maintain daily operations and meet service objectives.

Position Requirements To make an immediate contribution to the team, you will have demonstrated experience in the following: Developing process and procedural documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences Working with, administering, and supporting online authoring tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint Coordinating IT operations, administering day-to-day activities, and mentoring and supporting team members Identifying and implementing improvements in processes, procedures, and documentation Participating in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues working with technical resources and teams Working with a broad range of computer systems and applications, voice and data communications, network technologies, and local and remote diagnostic tools Understanding of ITIL Service Transition functions and associated services.

You will have at least five years experience in a computer operations environment including Service Desk.

Your experience is supported with a diploma or certificate in a computer related field, and the drive to remain current on industry standards and technologies.

Salary range for this position starts at $58,629 per annum plus full benefits package.
