This is a Full-time position in Brantford, ON posted June 3, 2019.

Responsibilities: Shall work in compliance with the provision of the Act and the regulations and all applicable legislation Shall use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or worn Shall be trained in the appropriate welding procedure and on the appropriate welding machine Follow all health and safety rules and regulations as per Cambridge Pro Fab Inc.’s policies and procedures Able to understand, interpret and lay out work as per engineering drawings, bill of materials and work orders Fitting parts/all types of panels that have been assigned (may be required to lift steel by hand, with overhead crane and/or forklift) Operate a welding machine in a safe and professional manner May be required, at a minimum, to pass a CWB flat position weld test and may be asked to pass an all-position test Weld any job as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Supervisor.

This may include, but is not limited to working at heights, working within confined spaces and welding in some areas for a prolonged period of time.

The ability to be flexible and agile for welding in any position is required.

Welding of various metals may be required Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately in all steps within the process of manufacturing Maintain a consistent line of communication between themselves, the Supervisor and/or workers on opposite shifts Be a team player Perform other duties outside the normal scope of their daily tasks for the betterment of the company Occasional use of overhead cranes, forklifts, ladders and other equipment as per company procedures.

No equipment shall be used/operated unless the proper training is received and documented Clearly understand and perform welding Clear understanding of manufacturing prints Clear understanding of fit process (layout, Q.A.

check, fit, Q.A.

check) Accurately build large sub-assemblies Grinds clean and repairs all damage from the fitting process, replacing parent metal as required Clear understanding of crane rigging and single hoist lifts Able to use Oxy-Acetylene torch safely and effectively Able to use plasma cutter safely and effectively Keeps up with a fast-paced environment Maintains adequate attendance Finds ways to improve the fitting process Fits advanced projects one off custom fabrication (flat, round, square to round, etc.) Fits panels within 1/16th of an inch Fits panels with all temporary bracing for welding installed Promotes safe work practices Benefits Employees are entitled to company benefits beginning at four months of employment.
