If you show them your dedication, they will bend over backwards for you ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Mortgage and Lending Administrator will support a team of Mortgage Advisors with preparing and reviewing documents, ordering and reviewing appraisals and continuously liaising with all involved stakeholders.

This will be an intensive but rewarding role and you can expect to be handling 30-40 files at any given time.

ABOUT THE POSITION This position is both remote and in office.

The office is currently based in Burnaby, but will be moving to Langley in 2022.

The key responsibilities for this role are: Preparing and sending supporting documents for mortgage commitments and keeping borrowers up to date on progress Ordering and reviewing appraisals Gathering and reviewing all conditions required in order to close mortgages Following up with lenders to ensure files and progressing smoothly and in a timely manner Escalating and troubleshooting any issues or concerns that may arise, communicating with Mortgage Advisors to resolve Liaising with borrowers’ solicitors to confirm mortgage documents are received and fees will be collected Maintaining up to date lender and appraiser information in software system Organizing and keeping all files up to date Instructing and funding of mortgage loans Confirming legal documents and security of mortgages Processing loan renewals Managing client loan accounts and delinquent loan accounts Monthly reports Due diligence checks on mortgages THE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry Mortgage broker license with British Columbia, Ontario or Alberta is required Strong knowledge of Filogix, Finmo and Lendesk Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF Phantom Ability to work in a face passed, demanding environment and can multitask efficiently Exceptional interpersonal, organization, communication and time management skills Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently within a team environment, follow instructions with minimal supervision and take initiative Availability and willingness to work overtime occasionally, when necessary COMPENSATION $55,000
