We are looking for an experienced and driven Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team, ideally to be based in BC or the US.

Recruitment experience within technology, specifically Technical Sales/Account Management or Software Engineering preferred.

Role & Responsibilities:

    As a credible talent advisor, you possess the ability to coach candidates and advise your Hiring Managers on creative sourcing strategies and recruitment industry best practices.

  • Developing a reliable and effective candidate pipeline for the future is paramount.

    You are motivated and passionate about matching exceptional talent into genuinely exciting roles.

    You will have experience in proactively sourcing passive candidates for difficult to fill vacancies, often with niche skill sets.

    You will already have an extensive network in the Software Engineering sector and you will thrive on building professional networks with a strong focus on diversity and candidate care.

  • Drive recruiting activities through to employee onboarding with a strong focus on candidate identification and creative sourcing of talent across the US and Canada.
  • Be responsible for collaborating with People Leaders to create impactful advertising, driving social media engagement, high quality and diverse talent identification, headhunting and proactive solicitation of referrals
  • Proactively provide meaningful market intelligence and recruiting insights to the People Leaders and wider People & Culture team, demonstrating your value as a trusted advisor
  • Nurture and engage with candidates at all levels, creating talent pools and demonstrating the Willow Employee Value Proposition

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Extensive headhunting/proactive and creative sourcing capabilities
  • Significant experience working with Senior Stakeholders and globally distributed teams
  • Exposure to recruitment platforms (Lever, ADP etc)
  • Proven capability using and optimizing recruiting technologies, direct sourcing tools and techniques
  • Strong commitment to attracting and recruiting the right person
  • Experience driving interview best practices and successful identification and implementation of assessment methodologies to facilitate ‘right first-time’ hiring
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the capability to transact with senior business leaders
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, ideally cross-industry / multiple regions and experience with Employer Brand / Employer Value Proposition activation
  • You will be used to working across different timezones and be able to commit to working outside core business hours where required
