Communication advisor – longueuil

This is a Full-time position in Longueuil, QC posted May 31, 2019.

Your role As the Communication Advisor, you will help create pertinent and impactful content, prepare and execute effective communication plans and support the sales team on major projects. This person will provide consulting and coaching services to help reach sales targets.

The nature of the assignments requires in-depth knowledge of individual insurance and investment as well as of the network of independent brokers.

Your responsibilities will be: Prepare and recommend content that is in line with the needs of our various communication channels to support the representatives of each business lineOrganize, plan and coordinate communication plans and their dissemination Execute or help execute the activities required by the various communication plans Collaborate with our partners’ key contact persons to provide them with pertinent content Organize webinars on our products and services Be a contact person to the marketing team when they need your collaboration Be a contact person to the sales team for related activities Represent the sales or communications teams on different committees and projects Prepare presentations (training) to meet the needs of target customer bases Work in close collaboration with the e-business team to develop our web content and update our secure and non-secure websites Plan, organize and execute initiatives to promote our products and services to prospective advisors Measure the success rate of various initiatives and where necessary, suggest how to improve the penetration rate Organize and monitor sales contests in target customer bases Attend individual insurance and investment sales team meetings, when required Gather intel on the competition and other stakeholders in the sector Your profile Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration or related field, or relevant experience Between three and five years of relevant experience In-depth knowledge of individual insurance and investment products Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French Capacity to multitask and manage stress while delivering assignments on time Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, be creative and proactive Strong teamwork and relational skills Strong IT skills, specifically the Office Suite Knowledge of Openfield by Dialog Insight, an asset
