This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for liaising between business users to gather and translate requirements in a concise, logical and understandable manner.

The incumbent will be responsible for interpreting business requirements and documenting them in a technical document.

The incumbent will also support all stakeholders in the SDLC process with special emphasis on the development, testing and business analyst teams.

Responsibilities º Conduct meetings with stakeholders to determine scope and gather functional requirements.

º Interpret business requirements and determine the system impacts.

Document the impacts into a detailed functional specifications document and obtain sign off.

º Reconcile functional specifications with business requirements and adhere to documentation standards regarding layout and content.

º Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements.

º Be able to create system process models, specifications, diagrams and charts that provide clarity and direction for development and testing.

º Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.

º Provide support to business analysts, software developers and testers.

º Provide production support.

Qualifications º University degree or college diploma in a related field º Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an analyst.

º Has knowledge of Mutual Fund Industry and Financial Services Industry.

º Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, managers, and subject matter experts and ability to negotiate effectively to manage project deliverables.

º Expert knowledge of the different SDLC Methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall etc.

º Excellent organizational and time management skills.

º High proficiency in MS Office Suite, in particular MS Excel, MS-Word, MS-Visio.

º Strong presentation, facilitation, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

º Self starter, comfort dealing with ambiguity and multiple stakeholders and priorities.

º Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment.

º The individual must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and results-oriented, be diligent and work with a sense of urgency.
