Red Seal – Maintenance Millwright ($38.76/hr $2 Premium Class 4 Ticket)

This is a Contract position in Delta, BC posted June 1, 2019.

This opportunity is calling for youif you are looking to WORK closer to home and to join a leading company with a fantastic working environment as a Maintenance Millwright This will be a 4 Day X 10 hour shift Monday
– Saturday Joining a strongly motivated Maintenance team, the right candidate will be responsible for:
– Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs production machinery to ensure an effective maintenance system and achieve the highest performance of the production equipment
– Diagnoses problems and troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems for the production equipment
– Performs gas and electric welding
– Ensures that all work and inspections are properly documented and communicated, such as related work details, changes to the equipment and health and safety issues Sets up and operates maintenance machinery.

– Provide Mechanical expertise and support TOC in mechanical installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets.

– Work effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety
– Demonstrates safety as a top priority.

– Performs all duties as assigned by the Mechanical Group Leader and Maintenance Supervisor Advantages
– Starting wage: $38.76/hr ($80,620K Salary to start) ($2 premium for having Class 4 Power Engineer ticket)
– 2 Weeks vacation to start

– Monthly recognition Awards/Company BBQs Qualifications You must have: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Millwright license Valid 4th Class Power Engineer ticket or ability to achieve within one year.

Previous experience in a food manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical plant is a definite advance Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills and be a self-starter Ability to read Blue Prints, use precision instruments (Imperial and Metric) Proven ability to read and interpret Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematics Be able to work flexible shifts, including overnight shift Four easy ways to apply: 1.
