We hope our search ends with you. Lead Quality Control Technician:Your focus in this role will be on quality assurance and company environmental requirements. You’ll also manage sample standards, product complaints, quality parameters of raw materials, off-line production, and company environmental requirements. Practically speaking about the quality assurance and company environmental regulations piece of the role (80%), you will: * Review all raw materials and production stages for adherence to requirements, and review, distribute, and maintain the daily sample-folder standards for scheduled production* Identify root cause and validate/invalidate customer quality complaints* Review production quality complaints and make recommendations for their resolution* Perform EHS functions as needed* Provide back-up support for production/supplemental Q.C. whenever needed* Remain updated with changing regulations and guidelines* Maintain records, files and GHS, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance* Conduct formal and informal audits to ensure compliancePart of your time will also be spent on training & tours (10%) and research & development (10%). Practically speaking, you will:* Provide hands-on training for any new hires and re-training as needed* Organize initial three-month training for QC personnel and monitor for compliance* Provide demonstrations and explanations of Q.C. processes to visitors; assist with facility tours when required* Assist in executing R&D and manufacturing trials* Conduct safety audits and complete other special projects This is an excellent opportunity for someone who works in quality control (including someone early in their career), with a chemistry background, and some experience with quality control measures and practices.
