He offers appropriate help and support to children, adolescents and families facing social difficulties.

Also, the technician must observe the attitudes and behaviors of the children, participate in the assessment of their needs for their adaptation, conduct individual or group activities and make periodic evaluations allowing a follow-up of these people.

He also ensures that clients are directed to relevant resources and services.

The technician is also responsible for the planning, organization, management and evaluation of services provided, as well as volunteer management, material and financial resources for these services.Position requirementsHave completed college in special education other program recognized by the management; Minimum one year experience, including; with a child and familyclientele, in social help.Be bilingual, both oral and written; Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French; Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software; Be available to carry out other related tasks; Knowledge of military life is an assetHave a good capacity to listen, analyse and synthesis ; Demonstrate enthusiasm, leadership and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate independenceand a spirit of collaboration; Demonstrate professionalism and creativity; Have an interest in working with youth and families; Having a good sense of observation and responsibilities; Possess or be able to quickly develop knowledge of resources, local issues and dynamics; Be creative in finding ways to help clients; Demonstrate a high levelof empathy, openness and patience; PayThis position is paidon an hourly basis of $ 25, 52.It’s a 30 hours a week temporary position.Deadline: Applicants must e-mail their resume and cover letter before May 18, 2021.We thank all candidates for their interest and advise that only those selected for an interview will becontacted.
