Fraser Health: Lead, Health Informatics – User Experience & Service Management – Wireless Services

This is a Full-time position in Anmore, BC posted May 25, 2021.

As a Lead, Common and Technical Services role, you will help to grow and support a Wireless Services portfolio with the opportunity to combine your expertise in Wireless Networks, Process Design, Business Analysis and IT Service Management in a project-based environment.

Build on your education and career experience as you: Employ your knowledge of Technical Project Management processes to support the identification, documentation and delivery of planned and potential Wi-Fi service improvement projects.

Specific duties will include requirements gathering and analysis, meeting participation, service provider and vendor liaison, business case planning and project lifecycle management using FHA’s IT Service Management toolsets.

Bring your demonstrable experience in performing specific Wi-Fi Service Management-related activities to support day-to-day function within the Wireless Services portfolio.

Specific duties will include process design and maintenance, service monitoring and incident response, development and maintenance of internal and customer-facing documentation, administering access to support contracts and licenses, technical and governance committee participation, and support for development and publishing of communications related to the Wireless Services portfolio and its associated projects.

Use your experience in collecting, documenting and interpreting business requirements for Wireless Devices, along with your experience in translating these into tactical solutions, to recommend, design and implement specific process and tool-based improvements to FHA’s Wi-Fi Service Management model.

Specific duties include support for service design and solution assessment, testing & validation.

Combine your knowledge of Wi-Fi Service Design principles with your insight and experience in Process Design to help define strategies and tactics for improvements in Wi-Fi Service Management.

Specific duties include ongoing development and maintenance of service design, access and usage standards for wireless services (and monitoring adherence & enforcement), and supporting the development and distribution of metrics and reporting.

Bring your passion, skills and experience and be part of a dedicated team of professionals in a role where you can really make a difference As the successful candidate you have: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Science or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Combination of Training and skills including recent credible Network Management Experience, Networking certifications (Ekahau ECSE, CCNA, CCNP, Network etc.) Five years of recent, related experience with business and systems analysis including experience as a technical project manager or Network Project SME in a large, complex organization.

Experience with installing and supporting wireless networks in a large organization and knowledge of ITIL Service Management foundations is strongly preferred and will assist in your success in this role.

This position is a regular full time position located at our Central City offices in Surrey, B.C.
