*Great Customer Service role, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends* POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support growth of the service department business by driving profitable sales growth and customer service through understanding customer needs and providing solutions for their businesses.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:Demonstrates and excels in Acklands-Grainger Performance Drivers including but not limited to the following behaviours:Wow the Customer Know your customers; Earn your customer’s trust; Become your customers’ “go-to” personHave A Winning Attitude Play to win; Act with optimism & enthusiasm; Make courageous decisionsDrive For The Best Results Set high standards; Take personal accountability; Deliver on commitmentsMake The Team Better Be collaborative; Build trust; Communicate openly & honestly; Listen & learn from othersInteract, respond and follow up with customers on a daily basis, promptly responding to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient mannerEnsuring compliance with corporate policies.Reviews and tracks the KPIs for the TS teamTracks and manages projects, deadlines and status reports as required by the Director.Tracks parts inventory of our TS shops.Invoices our RSOs.Creates the quotes for our mobile runs and in house technician.Track all RSO, third party and POAnswers incoming calls to TSWork with technician to process all of our rentals equipmentsContribute proactively to improvements in branch profitability and product Gross Margin.Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products soldPromote Company products and services to customers and provide substitutions where requiredAdhere to the 5S program and take an active role in the branch’s cleanliness and maintenanceMaintain knowledge and ensure compliance of safety policies and procedures of Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, and all related governing legislationProvide leadership and ensure continued exceptional customer service by the branch team, when requiredSupport Branch Manager by assisting with everyday operational/administrative functions, when requiredOther branch support related duties including but not limited to supporting the warehouse functions as requiredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 1 to 2 years previous customer service experience is requiredDemonstrates a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job doneDemonstrated focus on “wowing” the customer with exceptional serviceTeam-player and an ability to work independentlyKnowledge of industrial and/or safety products is preferredSuperior interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills to effectively build relationshipsStrong communication skills, ability to convey message in an organized, clear and effective mannerA self starter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is requiredStrong time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to adhere to tight deadlinesProficient computer skills and aptitudeKnowledge of dangerous goods and WHMIS regulations is requiredCompletion of High School Diploma/Post Secondary education or equivalent work experienceBilingualism is mandatoryAcklands-Grainger strives to be an employer of choice, to attract and retain top diverse talent, and to provide a safe and positive work environment for all of its team members.
