Customer & Application Support Analyst

This is a Contract position in Vancouver, BC posted June 3, 2019.

As a Customer & Application Support Analyst you have the opportunity to provide expertise to end users relating to use applications or services in a primary technical environment.

You will be using your excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations to perform root cause analysis, improve our knowledge base and facilitate faster and better resolution for future cases while recommending procedures and controls for problem prevention.

Desired Skills and Experience:
– Investigation and diagnostic skills
– Multi-tasking and ability to maintain focus under stress
– Empathy with users; patience and understanding
– Above average knowledge of MS Windows OSm Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint
– Ability to recognize and work with various file formats at a glance (e.g.

CSV vs XML, TXT vs PDF etc.)
– Working knowledge of Windows servers
– general IT and networking skills; working with switches, ethernet cables, command prompts, computer troubleshooting
