Office Manager

This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted June 3, 2019.

A well
– known organization located in the downtown area is looking for an experienced Office Manager to assist both the the Sales Consultants, the staff and clients with both people handling and day to day office operations Hourly rate is between 20
– 22/hr at a 35 hour work week; Operational hours are between 8am
– 5pm Start ASAP This is a permanent role, but starts out as a contract role with Randstad.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for customer relations and manages customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage the staff and ensuring that tasks and deliverables are completed efficiently and on a timely basis
• Generate and distribute memos and communications to the staff and the clients
• Process payments, transfers and returns
• Generate and verify invoices
• Generate, populate and submit reports
• Data entry and filing
• Inventory management
• Responsible for stationary purchases and maintenance of electronic devices (copiers, printers, computers etc.)
• Ensure all HR policies are adhered to and communicated to management and staff Qualifications:
• Bilingualism is a strong asset, must have great communication skills
• Experience in Office Management and team handling
– strong conflict management skills and the ability to performance manage current employees
• Advanced knowledge in computer management
– MS Office Applications
– Excel, outlook and Word
• Keen to detail, accurate and the ability to problem solve
