This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted May 9, 2019.

We are a professional and efficient small law firm located in Westmount, specializing in commercial debt collection.

We are searching for an administrative assistant to join our highly motivated team.

The position is full-time (schedule and salary may be flexible for the right person).Duties will include:
· Opening and closing files;
· Managing files (communicating with clients and other lawyers via email, providing updates and following up for instructions as necessary, ensuring the proper flow of each file pursuant to standard procedures);
· Managing Quebec and Canadian collection claims (sending demand letters, researching the debtor company for useful information, registering phone calls and emails to debtors, and reporting to clients).
· Some personal assistant work, such as expense reports, booking conferences and seminars, keeping memberships up to date, Barreau reporting, etc.
· Reception work such as answering the phone, taking messages and greeting clients. The successful candidate must:
· Have a perfect command of English, with intermediate (spoken) French.
· Have at least 4 years of similar experience in a professional office environment.
· Ideally have some legal experience.
· Be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Be comfortable with taking instruction from at least 3 people, but able to work independently as well.
· Be able to set priorities (if not instructed directly) and take initiative when required.
· Be extremely organized, attentive to details and accurate.
· Be honest and efficient with your time.
